Skill Tech II

Skill Tech II teaches advanced yet practical technology skills to Club members ages 13 to 18. Using animated, interactive tutorials on courseware developed exclusively for Boys & Girls Clubs, as well as hands-on, instructor-led group activities, the program introduces members to hardware and networking skills and technology-related career opportunities.

Skill Tech

Skill Tech is a basic computer skills program that develops Club members’ proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and other productivity software through fun, hands-on, engaging lessons and projects for four age groups.

Project Learn reinforces and enhances the skills and knowledge young people learn at school during the hours they spend at the Club. Power Hour: Making Minutes Count helps Club members ages 13-18 achieve academic success by providing homework help, tutoring and high-yield learning activities and encouraging members to become self-directed learners.

Money Matters: Make It Count

Money Matters promotes financial responsibility and independence among Club members ages 13-18 by building their basic money management skills. TNT DramaMatters

TNT DramaMatters Afterschool, a drama education program for Clubs, was developed in collaboration with Turner Network Television. TNT DramaMatters Afterschool is a flexible resource for Clubs designed to raise awareness about the benefits of drama education.

Digital Arts

The Club members can be creative in six areas – graphic design, photo illustration, music composition, game design, claymation & live – action and movie making. Boys & Girls Club of America (BGCA) provides Club members with recognition at the local, regional and national levels.
