Position Description

The Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha offers an array of activities designed to meet the unique interests and needs of young people throughout the Kenosha community. Employees at the Club exhibit passion and commitment that helps our community thrive.

We are looking for someone to display exceptional customer service by greeting and welcoming all members, volunteers, and guests to the Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha. This person will ensure that everyone receives accurate information and prompt service. They will also maintain a database and files efficiently and accurately.

This part-time role averages 18-24 hours per week, with the majority of scheduled shifts occurring during evenings and weekends.

Guest Services Representative

Position Responsibilities:

  • Greet all visitors, guests, and volunteers, using a script, and guide them to the appropriate area in the building.
  • Answer the Club phone, using a script.
  • Administer and manage cash handling responsibilities.
  • Collect and record all program and membership fees.
  • Check on-line registration and migrate into member tracking system.
  • Manage guest requests and concerns promptly and with courtesy.
  • Maintain efficient and effective flow of information with guests and all internal departments.
  • Enter information from sports registration and membership forms into the member tracking system.
  • Follow opening and closing procedures.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college education is encouraged but not required
  • Dependable attendance and availability to work scheduled evening and weekend shifts.
  • Strong work history
  • Guest Services experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
  • Team player
  • Works collaboratively with staff, members, volunteers, and families
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn new software applications
  • Ability to work well independently and take direction
  • Ability to manage time wisely and manage stressful situations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
