Position Description

The Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations. This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys working in a mission-driven environment and has strong computer, organizational, and communication skills.

Administrative & Finance Assistant

Position Details:

  • Position: Administrative Assistant & Finance Assistant
  • Hours: 29 hours per week
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday during regular business hours, with occasional evening and weekend hours required for special events throughout the year
  • Starting Pay: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour
  • Location: Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records, databases, and electronic and paper filing systems while ensuring confidentiality of organizational information.
  • Perform data entry and ensure the accuracy of organizational information.
  • Provide administrative support for fundraising events, special projects, and community outreach activities.
  • Assist with administrative and financial support functions, ensuring accurate recordkeeping and documentation.
  • Order, inventory, and maintain office supplies and equipment.
  • Assist leadership and staff with administrative tasks and day-to-day office operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission and operations of the Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous administrative, office, bookkeeping or clerical experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong computer and data entry skills.
  • Ability to learn and utilize new software applications and technology platforms.
  • Comfortable working with organizational software, electronic document systems, and databases.
  • QuickBooks experience is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Friendly, professional, and customer-service oriented.
