With the support of the Natalie Lee and Shirley Madrigrano Arts Foundation, we are highlighting some of our amazing youth artists from our Teen Center on a monthly basis. We work hard to provide our Teens with opportunities every day to participate in arts programs including dance, music, painting, crafts and digital arts. These are opportunities that our members may otherwise not have access to and through our arts programs, members are able to use their creativity to create great works of art.
For the month of September, we are highlighting Jaylianna. Jaylianna is 15 years old and is a freshman at Tremper High School. She shared that she enjoys drawing at the Club because it’s calming and gives her a positive outlet. She is always challenged to step outside her comfort zone and she loves making art for others to uplift them.
Jaylianna, we think you are amazing!
For the remainder of 2023, Joseph & Kathy Madrigrano Jr., Bob Lee Sr., and Bob & Linda Lee Jr., have agreed to match up to $25,000 of contributions that are made to the Natalie Lee and Shirley Madrigrano Arts Foundation. Their collective donation will be applied to the Shirley Madrigrano and Natalie Lee Arts Foundation. All community donations received will be used to develop, enhance, and sustain the Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha’s art programming.
