2020 School Year Update

Due to the change in the school year plan for KUSD, the BGCK’s plans for the virtual learning support site is on hold. The Club will be waiting until the next board meeting to be held on September 1st to formulate final school year plans.

  • If the current plan stays in place (where parents have the choice between in person and virtual learning), the BGCK will offer after school programming beginning on September 14th. Free busing will be offered from 9 area elementary schools. Free bus passes will be available for teens.
  • If the plan changes to be entirely virtual, the BGCK will offer the virtual learning support site to the 90 youth who already signed up and all teens who are interesting in attending. The program would be pushed back to start on September 14th.

From August 31st through September 11th, the BGCK will be open for summer hours and programming (closed on Labor Day).

  • Youth: AM Adventure will be available from 7am – 12pm for $60/week. Afternoon programming is open to those who registered for the summer session from 12 – 4:45pm.
  • Teens: The Teen Center will be open from 12 – 5pm Monday – Friday.
