Madrigrano & Lee Families to Provide Matching Grant to the Natalie Lee and Shirley Madrigrano Arts Foundation

Madrigrano & Lee Families Match Funds To Arts Foundation

For the remainder of 2023, Joseph Madrigrano Jr., Bob Lee Sr., and Bob Lee Jr., have agreed to match up to $25,000 of contributions that are made to the Natalie Lee and Shirley Madrigrano Arts Foundation.

Youth and Teens receive opportunities every day to participate in arts programs including dance, music, painting, crafts and digital arts. These are opportunities that our members may otherwise not have access to and through these programs, members are using their creativity to create great works of art.

In 2016, after the passing of both Shirley Madrigrano and Natalie Lee, the Arts Foundation was started at the Club in their honor by their sons Joe Madrigrano and Robert Lee, Jr. The goal of the foundation is to raise enough funds so that the earnings of the Arts Foundation comes back to the Club each year in increasing amounts as the Arts Foundation grows. This funding serves to offset program costs. With these funds, the Club hopes to enable more kids to participate in arts programming.

It costs the Club about $20,000 per year to run arts programming for youth and teens. The goal of the Arts Foundation is to ultimately support the full arts budget.

Those who are interested in contributing to the Natalie Lee and Shirley Madrigrano Arts Foundation can mail a check to the Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha (1330 52nd St., Kenosha, WI 53140) and specify Arts Fund in the memo. For more information, contact Tara Panasewicz at [email protected].
