Circle of Impact Spotlight | Dooley & Associates

1. What inspired you to join the Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha’s Circle of Impact?
Jen actually helped Ron Stevens establish this giving opportunity back in 2011, when it was known as the Circle of Friends. The idea was to create a meaningful way for businesses and individuals to support the Club throughout the year, rather than relying on individual fundraising appeals.
At the time, Dooley & Associates was still a young company, having been founded in 2008. We were looking for ways to give back while building relationships and establishing ourselves in the community. It was a natural fit. Giving back has always been part of our company’s mission, and we’re proud to have been part of this program from the beginning and to see how it has grown.
2. Why is supporting local youth important to you?
We believe there’s a direct connection between investing in our youth and building a stronger, safer, and more successful community. The future of Kenosha depends on the next generation, and every child deserves the opportunity to discover their potential, develop confidence, and dream big.
When we invest in local youth, we’re investing in the future of the entire community. It’s really that simple.

3. What impact do you hope your support has on the kids we serve?
Above all, we hope our support helps ensure that every child who walks through the Club’s doors feels safe, valued, loved, and supported.
The Club is so much more than a place for kids to go after school. It’s a place where they discover their passions, build friendships, develop essential life skills, and find people who believe in them. We hope our contributions help create opportunities and experiences that inspire these young people to believe in themselves and recognize just how much they’re capable of achieving.
4. What would you say to someone considering joining the Circle of Impact?
As marketing professionals and business owners, we often talk about the value of community partnerships. There’s truly no better win-win than an investment that supports your business while making a meaningful difference in the community you serve.
Small business owners sometimes underestimate the impact they can make, especially when we see the large, headline-making donations from major corporations. But consider this: a business that commits $5,000 annually to an organization will have contributed $100,000 over 20 years. That’s $100,000 in support that organization might not otherwise have received. Your business matters. Your investment matters. And over time, that impact really adds up.
The Circle of Impact provides an opportunity to align your business with a meaningful mission, build lasting relationships, and demonstrate your commitment to Kenosha’s future. It’s more than a sponsorship. It’s an investment in the next generation and one you can feel incredibly proud of.
5. What has been your favorite experience or event with the Club so far?
After nearly two decades of involvement, it’s impossible to choose just one! From volunteering at Dairy State with Jen’s parents and John’s Uncle Eric Olson to watching Youth of the Year candidates grow, pursue their dreams, and accomplish incredible things, there have been so many special moments.
Jen has had the privilege of serving on the Board and countless committees over the years, while John has been right alongside her since he joined Dooley & Associates in 2012, lending his technical expertise and connections to help bring events and initiatives to life.
We’ve shared countless memories, celebrated milestones, and built friendships that extend well beyond the Club’s walls. After all these years, we don’t just consider ourselves supporters of the Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha. We consider the Club part of our family.
