Youth Center – Non-Exempt
Position Description
Are you someone who enjoys working with youth and making a difference in their lives? The Program Specialist implements, supervises, develops, and evaluates all programs and activities in the program area of Youth Center for members ages 6-12.
The hours for this position are Monday through Thursday 2-7:00pm and Friday 11-5:00pm. On school days the hours would be 12:00-5:00pm.
We are looking for someone with experience working with youth, ages 6-12, who can develop and administer programs and activities in our Youth Center.

Director of Youth Services/Youth Services Coordinator/Site Director
Primary Function:
Implement, supervise, develop and evaluate all programs and activities in the program area of Youth Center for members ages 6-12.
Position Responsibilities:
- Effectively administer programs and activities for youth ages 6-12.
- Develop lesson plans and implement programs according to the plans.
- Develop relationships with youth to ensure trust and confidence in them, to recruit them to participate in programs.
- Promote and develop leadership skills to members.
- Implement and enforce all Club rules and policies with the members.
- Ensure a safe, healthy, and positive environment in the Youth Areas as well as the rest of the center.
The successful candidate will have:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience working with youth ages 6-12
- Ability to effectively operate a computer and programs used by the Club.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior.
- Good Driving Record and Valid Driver’s License.
- And be able to work the scheduled hours.
The pay for this position is $15.00 per hour.
