Kenosha, WI – March 20, 2019 – The Uline Finance Volunteer Committee held a bowl-a-thon fundraiser benefitting the Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha at Guttormsen Recreation Center on Saturday, March 2nd. Over $2,500 was raised for through ticket sales, a 50/50 raffle and prizes. GRC offered discounted rates and contributed financially to the cause as well.
The committee began in 2013 as a way for their department to give back to the community and to help build camaraderie. Sixty one Uline employees and dozens of guests participated in the bowl-a-thon. Uline also covered the cost of pizza, soda and bowling for several BGCK members.
“We’ve been blessed to have Uline in our local community as they continue to be so generous to the BGCK,” said BGCK CEO, Jake McGhee. “It’s exciting to have their employees spearhead this effort and give their time and energy for a great cause.”
