Third Award in Three Years!

After having never won a MAC award before, we got our first one in 2012 with a bronze award for advertising. Last year, 2013, we received a gold award for advertising with the publication of our first ever tabloid. This year, our efforts to use the national “blue door” brand in unique and creative ways resulted in a bronze award in the “Blue Door” category.”

Because of our budget, the Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha competes in these contests with all of the major cities in America. “We are fortunate to have a great partnership with Dooley & Associates for our marketing efforts,” said Ron Stevens, Chief Professional Officer. “Our success in the Boys & Girls Club of America’s national MAC Awards competition is evidence of the effectiveness of that partnership.”

The Blue Door has become the national branding icon for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. “We have had a strong buy-in to the national Blue Door campaign,” Stevens said. “Besides branding our year-end mailing and canister campaigns, we have used the blue door concept very effectively here at the club and even with our business cards. I believe this award is recognition of that.”
