Football Registration: May 13, 2013-July 12, 2013

*Players are placed into divisions based on the grade they will enter in the Fall of 2013.

Peewee, Junior & Senior Draft for 2013

  • New players and players moving up a division will be placed in a draft.
  •  All players returning to the same team in the same division will register at the same time and do not have to enter the draft.
  • Players wishing to change teams will not be eligible for the draft. They will be randomly assigned to a team and are not eligible be a coaches pick.

Combine Dates—July 21, 2013 & July 22, 2013. Times will be given out at registration.

2012-2013 Report Card Required at registration for proof of school grade

Registration WILL NOT be accepted without report card.

Registration fee: Members $100/Non-members $135 JERSERYS INCLUED

*Membership fees-$20/year per youth, $30/year 2 or more youth in the same family

Children with free or reduced lunch fee:  Members $65/Non-members $135 (Verification will be required)

Active Military Families:  Fee waived for one sport/year.

FOOTBALL GEAR IS NOT INCLUDED FOR ANY PLAYER

Football Divisions

Peewee Division (Grades 3 & 4)

Suggested minimum weight:  60 lbs/Red Stripe 98+lbs* 20-22 players per team.  Saturday Morning/Afternoon Games. Players play 2 quarters in each game.

Junior Division (Grades 5 & 6)

Suggested minimum weight: 70 lbs/Red Stripe 118+lbs* 20-22 players per team. Players play one quarter in first half and players must have playing time in second half.

Senior Division (Grades 7 & 8)

Suggested minimum weight: 85 lbs/Red Stripe 175+lbs* All players must have playing time in both halves. Small roster sizes allow for players to play on both sides of the ball and gain valuable game experience. Ideal Player to Coach Ratio. Season will include a cross-over game with KUSD Middle Schools.

*Red stripes are not  allowed to carry the ball.

Bambino Football Division: Grades 1 & 2

Suggested minimum weight: 40 lbs

Bambino Football is an instructional division that teaches players the basic skills of football.

Bambino Football registration fee: Members $70/Non-members $95

Children with free or reduced lunch fee:  Members $50/Non-members $95 (Verification will be required)

 

 

 

 

 

Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha holds tackle football leagues for Grades 1st through 8th Grade. 1st and 2nd grade is strictly instructional. In grades 3rd through 8th a Draft is held each summer. Participants attend a combine  mid to late July. New players or players moving up a division are eligible to be drafted. Players who switch team from the previous year are automatically placed in a random draft selected by coaches on draft day.

 

 

Practices begin the 1st week of August. Games begin in late August and run through the end of October. Football Season ends with a Football Finale Day held at Jaskwhich Field where Championship Games are held for all divisions.
