7/17/08: Best Buy Grand Opening !!!! Members from the Madrigrano Center and CYC Sports were invited to the Best Buy of Kenosha Grand Opening. Best Buy generously donated 10,000 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Kenosha. Some of the members gave Speeches about the impact that the club had on their lives. The members even got to cut the ribbon to officially open the store. Thank You Best Buy for helping us to make a difference in so many of our members lives.

07/10/08: Due to softball rainout games on Thursday, July 10th, postseason softball schedules have been amended.
07/08/08: The Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha/CYC Sports is conducting a survey on the Sports Program that is evaluating all the current sports and looking at the expansion in other sports areas. The survey will take from 5 to 10 minutes, and it will be very helpful in planning the future of the Sports Program. Please complete the survey by July 31. Click on the picture to start the survey.
07/07/08: The 12th Annual Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha Golf Outing is Monday, August 4th at Bristol Oaks Country Club. For more information click on the logo.

06/26/08: 46th Annual Boys & Girls Club / CYC Sports Junior Golf Tournament, Thursday, August 7th, 2008 @ Washington Park Golf Course (MUNI), Entry Deadline is July 31st and open for boys and girls ages 7-16 at the time of the event. Click here for more information.
06/16/08: The Madrigrano Center, located at 3712 50th St., begins summer hours. The Center will be open Monday through Friday from 11 am to 5 pm. All youth between the ages of 6 and 18 are invited to register as a Boys & Girls Club member and attend programs for a day, a week, or all summer. A fun-filled summer is planned with field trips, music making, games, sports, cookouts and more! Click here to view the summer calendar. 06/13/08: On Thursday, June 12, First Lady Jessica Doyle, Secretary of Workforce Development Roberta Gassman and Secretary of Children and Families Reggie Bichia visited the children, staff and Board members at the Madrigrano Center. They toured the center along with visiting with the members on the importance of education.

Staff from the State of Wisconsin talked to students
about how to apply for jobs through the Job Core.
05/17/08: Ryan Grant, running back for the Green Bay Packers along with Stephanie Sutton from WISN Channel 12 in Milwaukee joined 300 attendees in the celebration of CYC Sports, on Friday, May 16th. The event netted $15,000 to support the Pat Quilling Scholarship Fund. Keith & Debbie LeMay from the LeMay Auto Group received the "Mary Frost Ashley Patron Saint Award" for their support of the CYC Sports Programs and the Bill Ubrig Family received the Sports Family of the Year.
The Boys & Girls Club/CYC Sports Alumni Award was given to Tristan Borzick and Matt Blazieske members of the Division III NCAA National Champions UW-Whitewater. The Helping Hands Award for oustanding volunteer service to the sports program was presented to Jim Tredup from Accurate Printing and John Ruffolo, Head Coach of the Bradford High School Girls Softball Team.

04/21/08: What a GREAT FIRST YEAR!!! Over 750 people in attendance netting over $21,000 and the Sausage Race raised over $8,000 for the Club.
