Kenosha, WI – May 8, 2017 – The Boys & girls Club of Kenosha will be offering Summer Quest Camp for free in 2017. The camp will run from 12 – 5pm, Monday through Friday in the Youth Center, beginning June 12 through August 25.
The Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha has waived the $5 per week fee that was in place in previous years. This fee reduction will allow those with a current membership to continue attending throughout the summer.
BGCK CEO, Jake McGhee, is excited to be able to reach more kids in the summer time, “We’ve doubled our after-school attendance during the school year and want to keep that momentum going throughout the summer. Our goal is to impact the kids that need us the most, when they need us the most and the elimination of the $5 per week fee allows us to remain affordable and accessible to kids when they’re out of the classroom.”
BGCK will offer AM Adventure from 7am – 12pm Monday through Friday. The fee for AM Adventure is $60/week or $16/day per child. Those who sign up for AM Adventure will automatically be enrolled in Summer Quest Camp from 12 – 5pm. Free lunch will be served daily from 12 – 1:30pm. AM Adventure and Summer Quest Camp is open to all kids ages 6 – 12.
